Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 10 June 2025  •  Effective Date: 10 June 2025

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out the basis on which Frugova provides its educational programs, courses, and workshops, and govern your use of our website at frugova.cyou. Please read them carefully before enrolling in any program or submitting an enquiry.

By accessing our website or participating in any Frugova program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or enrolling in a program, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or participate in our programs.

You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. Our programs are not intended for individuals under 18.

3. Service Description

Frugova provides general spending education through self-paced courses, small-group workshops, and structured programs. All content is educational in nature and is not intended to constitute regulated financial advice, investment guidance, or personal financial planning of any kind.

Programs are primarily delivered to participants in Malaysia. Access to programs by individuals outside Malaysia is not excluded but may be subject to additional conditions.

4. Enrollment and Participation

Enrollment in a Frugova program is confirmed upon receipt of full payment and a confirmation communication from Frugova. Places in workshops and structured programs are limited and subject to availability.

Participants are expected to engage respectfully with facilitators and other participants. Frugova reserves the right to remove any participant from a program whose conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or otherwise inconsistent with the group norms established at the start of each program.

5. User Responsibilities

6. Intellectual Property

All Content produced by Frugova — including course materials, templates, checklists, workshop slides, and website content — is the intellectual property of Frugova. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in Frugova's materials.

Upon enrollment and payment, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Frugova's materials for your own personal learning. This licence does not permit commercial use, redistribution, or use in developing derivative educational content.

7. Pricing and Payment

All program fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Current pricing is as follows:

Payment details will be provided upon enquiry. Prices are subject to change; the price confirmed at the time of your enrollment will apply to that enrollment.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

For the self-paced Smart Spending Basics course, requests for a refund may be considered within 7 days of purchase, provided that you have not accessed more than the first module. Please contact us at [email protected] to request a review.

For the Mindful Spending Workshop and Complete Frugal Living Program, cancellations made more than 14 days before the program start date may be eligible for a partial refund (minus an administrative fee of RM 150). Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are generally not eligible for a refund, though Frugova may consider exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

Frugova reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a program with reasonable notice. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future cohort.

9. Disclaimers

All Frugova programs and materials are provided for general educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or any other form of regulated professional advice. Nothing in our Content should be relied upon as a substitute for independent professional guidance specific to your personal circumstances.

Frugova makes no representations about specific outcomes that may result from participating in its programs. Individual experiences and results will vary.

The website and programs are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from technical faults.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Frugova's total liability to you for any claim arising in connection with these Terms or your participation in a program shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant program.

Frugova shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses, including loss of income or opportunity, whether or not foreseeable.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Frugova harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of Frugova's website or materials.

12. Termination

Frugova may suspend or terminate your access to a program or the website if you breach these Terms. We will endeavour to provide notice where practicable, but may act immediately if necessary to protect participants or the integrity of a program.

Upon termination, your licence to use Frugova materials ceases. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution will survive termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

We encourage any concerns to be raised with us informally in the first instance at [email protected]. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably before formal proceedings are initiated.

14. General Provisions

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, the updated version will be published on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the website or participation in a program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
